VACANCY
NIGHT DRIVER C - HOREBEKE SITE
We are currently looking for a driver for our Horebeke site (4 days a week).
You are responsible for the timely, accurate and careful delivery of our products to customers, mainly chip shops, during the night.
You will help load your truck and deliver independently to various locations, sometimes in less accessible areas such as cold rooms or cellars.
You are responsible for order and hygiene in your vehicle.
Accuracy is important, as you must correctly assess what needs to be delivered depending on the order or stock available on site.
PROFILE
You have at least initial experience as a category C driver
You hold a valid category C driving licence
You hold a valid Code 95 certificate of professional competence
Night work (30% night bonus between 22:00 and 06:00) is not a problem:
Sunday to Monday
Tuesday to Wednesday
Thursday to Friday
Friday to Saturday
You are in good physical condition, as deliveries may be made to cold rooms or basement areas. Trolleys cannot be used everywhere, so manual lifting and moving is required.
You are flexible: overtime may be requested during busy periods
You have a good eye for detail, can read instructions and deliver accurately
25-30 stops per route are not a problem
You have your own transport to reach our site in Horebeke
Language is not a barrier - we communicate with drivers in English (non-Dutch speakers are welcome)
We welcome drivers of all backgrounds and nationalities. We currently employ Belgians, Poles, Romanians and Bulgarians. We communicate in English and provide a warm, stable working environment.
OFFER
Full-time permanent contract (38 hours)
Highly competitive salary with night bonus (30% between 22:00. and 06:00) so that 32 hours are covered by the night bonus
Thorough 2-to-3-week training with a fixed mentor driver
